My agenda in office includes increasing our State's economic revenue, restoring trust in our City's and State's public servants, and working diligently to offer relief to those who find themselves in challenging circumstances.
Currently, the emergency financial manager bills are jeopardizing the City of Detroit's representative democracy and our rights. As signed by Governor Snyder, these bills essentially give the emergency financial manager the power to independently control our city and our schools. It is now my mission to amend these bills and keep Lansing politics from ruining our great city.
